The Basel Chamber Orchestra is playing with Vilde Frang tonight at the Wigmore Hall London a programm with Bach and Mendelssohn.

On May 15, 2026, she will perform at the subscription concert “Idole” at Don Bosco.

Friends of Basel Chamber Orchestra at Othmar Schoeck Festival

Ten members of the Friends of the Basel Chamber Orchestra accompanied the Basel Chamber Orchestra to a concert at the Schoeck Festival in Brunnen on September 22, 2025. The slightly mysterious atmosphere on Lake Lucerne, created by the weather, the very special personal insight into Villa Ruhheim and the history of the Schoeck family, followed by the unforgettable performance of Othmar Schoeck's Elegy with the unique soloist Christian Gerhaher and the musicians, who played with inimitable enthusiasm under the baton of Heinz Holliger, is likely to linger in the memory for a long time to come.
