We love classical music and the Basel Chamber Orchestra, in whose concerts sparks fly! Whether in baroque garb, with classical, romantic symphonies or a contemporary commissioned work: the internationally renowned ensemble inspires. Let yourself be inspired too.

Energetic concerts bursting with the joy of music-making are the hallmark of the Basel Chamber Orchestra. Its transparent and flexible sound is unmistakable and highly appreciated by soloists and guest conductors. Anchored in Basel, the ensemble is a welcome guest in Europe's major music halls and at important festivals.
Since its founding in 2001, the Circle of Friends has strengthened the reputation of the Basel Chamber Orchestra and promoted its artistic goals.

What we offer you

You will enjoy special offers such as open rehearsals, artist talks or visits to CD recordings. You can also take part in concert tours to internationally renowned cities, where you can accompany the Basel Chamber Orchestra on one of its guest concerts.
You will receive every new CD release at a preferential price.
You will be part of an attractive network of music lovers, through which you can make further exciting contacts.
You will be informed in good time about the forthcoming season's programme and will receive advance booking rights for tickets.
Once a season you will be invited to an aperitif for friends and can participate in the annual general meeting.
A voluntary board of directors ensures that the financial resources are used entirely for the benefit of the Basel Chamber Orchestra. All contributions are tax-deductible as charitable donations in numerous cantons.

In addition to membership of the Friends of Basel Chamber Orchestra, you can make individual contributions to current and planned projects of the Basel Chamber Orchestra or develop new projects of your choice in partnership with us.

As a welcome gift, you will receive a current CD of the Basel Chamber Orchestra and a voucher for two free tickets to a Nachtklang concert every season.

Allegro Vivace

Single Person: CHF 500 | Couple: CHF 750
As a welcome gift, you will receive a current CD of the Basel Chamber Orchestra and the opportunity to receive two free tickets per year to a proposed subscription concert in Basel as well as to a tasting (open orchestra rehearsal with meeting of musicians at the subsequent standing lunch).

Seasonal contribution from CHF 2.500
As a welcome gift, you will receive a current CD of the Basel Chamber Orchestra and the opportunity to receive two free tickets each year to a proposed subscription concert in Basel, access to attend a dress rehearsal and a personal invitation to an orchestra rehearsal with introduction and subsequent drink.

Sponsorship of a concert with mention of the company name and the possibility of obtaining a privileged ticket contingent for customers and guests (before the start of the public advance sale).

With this form of membership, in addition to a season ticket Cat. I for two persons to the concerts in Basel, you will have the opportunity to meet musicians, conductors and soloists in person on special occasions. You will also be invited to a Soirée musicale with dinner in an intimate circle.
