Basel Chamber Orchestra
The Basel Chamber Orchestra is firmly anchored in Basel with its two subscription series at the Stadtcasino and Don Bosco. The concert programmes range from Viennese classical music with works by Mozart and Beethoven to contemporary music. In the long-term project Haydn2032, all of Haydn's symphonies are performed and recorded.
The Basel Chamber Orchestra makes a lot of new things out of the old.

GRAMMY® Consideration: Haydn2032
Our Haydn2032 album “The Surprise” has been submitted for nomination for a GRAMMY® in the Best Orchestral Performance category. Haydn’s mischievous wit is the focus of Symphonies Nos. 98, 90 and 94, which are paired with a Rossini Sinfonia.
German Record Critics' Award
We are on the longlist of the German Record Critics' Award with the Haydn2032 album “Per il Luigi.”
